After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Albany Law School in 1998, Justice Buchanan practiced law at Hacker Murphy, LLP, working on commercial matters, contract disputes, and personal injury cases.
That professional experience continues to inform Justice Buchanan's approach on the bench, including an understanding of the issues presented by parties, attorneys, and jurors throughout the litigation process.
